Flying Tigers Return Home July 4 for 5-Game Homestand

Independence Day Celebration, Fireworks and Sunday Brunch Highlight Homestand

Lakeland, FL – The Lakeland Flying Tigers return to Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium for a five-game homestand against the Jupiter Hammerheads (Marlins) July 4-5 and Tampa Tarpons (Yankees) July 6-8.

Tickets for all home games are available by calling the Flying Tigers at (863) 686-8075 or visiting LakelandFlyingTigers.com. Tickets can be purchased at the BayCare Box Office at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium located at 2301 Lakeland Hills Blvd. Advance sale box seat tickets are $9 and reserved seats are $6. Seniors 60 and over, children 12 and under and active military personnel receive a $1.00 discount. Day of game tickets are an additional $3. Saturday tickets are an additional $1. Wednesday All-You-Can-Eat tickets are $12 for box seats and $10 for reserved seats (in advance). Parking is FREE.

  • This upcoming Independence Day holiday week, MiLB teams from all 14 leagues will don custom-made American flag-inspired caps featuring their team logo in a red, white, blue and gold color scheme. The specialty caps will be worn by both players and umpires as part of their on-field uniforms, and include a subtle stars and stripes design under the bill and on the sweatband. Deemed “America’s Rally Cap” due to the unique pattern displayed beneath the crown, the 2018 Stars & Stripes cap will do more than make a fashion statement. MiLB will donate its licensed royalties from the sales of this year’s caps to the newly-established MiLB Charities Stars & Stripes Fund. The MiLB Charities Stars & Stripes Fund will contribute the monies raised to local military and veterans’ organizations through the Charles K. Murphy Patriot Award. Fans can purchase the limited-edition caps in team stores, and online through team websites and at MiLBStore.com.
  • The team will be wearing special patriotic red, white and blue jerseys.
  • During the game the Flying Tigers will have holiday picnic themed games, contests, music and fun.
  • • There will also be live music and entertainment following the game by The Sofa Kings.

 

  • Fan can enjoy the view, atmosphere and air conditioning in the brand new ’34 Club Presented by Miller Lite. The cost is only $35 and includes food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Patriotic Fireworks Extravaganza sponsored by the City of Lakeland, Corona and the Ledger Media Group

The fireworks spectacular will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m. and is sponsored by The City of Lakeland, Corona and The Ledger Media Group and will be displayed by Fireworks Displays Unlimited.

Wine Wednesday and Drink Specials

Adults 21 and older can enjoy:

  • • $3 wine, spritzers and sangria including a special Star-Spangled Sangria
  • • Blue Betty Cocktail featuring Deep Eddy Vodka (Red, White and Blue Cocktail)

The Bahia (Orlando) and Egypt (Tampa) Shriners will host a pre-game parade and raise awareness Shriners Hospital for Children and Shriners International.

Sunday Brunch

Enjoy brunch in the ’34 Club Presented by Miller Lite from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $24 in advance and $27 on the day of game. Menu includes chicken & waffles, omelet station, bacon, scrambled eggs, fruit salad, breakfast sausage, hashbrowns and create your own parfait. There will also be $3 mimosa and bloody mary specials.

Military Sunday

All active and retired military members receive complimentary admission to each Sunday home game. Flying Tigers players and coaches will be wearing special military themed jerseys each Sunday home game.

Kids Day

  • Kids 12 and under can play catch on the field beginning at 12:00 p.m. (weather permitting).
  • Kids 12 and under can also run the bases just like the Flying Tigers following the game (weather permitting).

Dairy Queen Sunday Sundae

All fans will receive a voucher for a free sundae, compliments of Dairy Queen – North Lakeland.
