Dutch Ireland, CIC and Ricky Lee, CWCA combined their talents in June 2008 to form Dutch Ireland Insurance, an independent agency that specializes in employee benefits and workers compensation. Dutch has over 23 years in the insurance industry, 15 of which were with Summit

Consulting. Ricky has over 4 years of experience as an agent in the Lakeland area with an emphasis on workers comp and employee benefits. In order to best meet the needs of their clients and to offer an optimum level of service, Dutch Ireland Insurance has partnered with WorkComp Partners and The Stoner Organization. Through these affiliations, Dutch and Ricky have a service staff of 13 highly qualified individuals who have an average experience of 14 years.

WorkComp Partners is an agency that has specialized in workers compensation for the past 14 years. Frank Pennachio, president, a 20 year veteran in the insurance industry, is a co-founder of the Institute of WorkComp Professionals, an organization that tests and certifies insurance professionals from around the country with the skills and knowledge necessary to alert employers RC - Dutch Ireland Insuranceabout the hidden costs and overcharges in the workers’ compensation insurance system.

John Stoner, of The Stoner Organization, has been an employee benefits industry leader for more than 40 years. John is a board member of the Florida West Coast Employee Benefits Council and is a member of United Benefit Advisors, the premier employee benefits affinity group in the country.

RC – Second Chance Training Center

Don and Mariaelena Steiner, Lakeland residents since 1994, are the founders of Wings of Eagles International, The Outreach Center of Central Florida and Second Chance Training Center. Each of tclip_image002hese ministries are separate, yet work seamlessly together, each complimenting the other.

Wings of Eagles International is the missions branch to reach out to other nations through medical and evangelistic crusades, leadership training seminars, as well as humanitarian aid. The Outreach Center of Central Florida links churches, charities and retail stores with resources to help the poor and needy in our community. In addition, the public is welcome to our Scratch & Dent Furniture Sales Room. Profits from sales help us to help others. We are also the Central Florida distributors for Gifts in Kind, one of the largest charities in the nation. Second Chance Training Center is our ministry to women released from prison, assisting them with housing, practical skills, education, employment and stopping the cycles of destruction in their lives.

All three ministries are now together in our new building, with the exception of the housing for RC - Second Chancethe Second Chance ladies. This will greatly increase our ability to administrate and expand all aspects of these ministries more effectively.

Breaking News: Politics in the Park

The Chamber now has confirmed that Governor Charlie Crist and Command Sergeant Major Michele Jones will serve as surrogates for Senators McCain and Obama respectively. Politics in the Park will begin promptly at 5:30 with Governor Crist and Command Sergeant Major Jones speaking first.Politics In The Park

Politics in the Park is an old-fashioned political rally that gives the community an opportunity to meet with and hear from candidates – across all levels of government – for the 2008 election. And for the first time in the event’s history, admission to the main event is FREE!

Please join us for this family-friendly event with special appearances to be made by AMVETS Post 32, the Lakeland High School Drumline, emcee Jennifer Leigh of News Channel 8, and a Fly-By of a vintage World War II aircraft will kick off the event.

Local restaurants participating in the event are: Abuelo’s, Ale Gators, Dairy Queen, Fred’s Southern Kitchen, Outback Steakhouse and Rib Crib. In addition, hot dogs will be available.
