ORIGINAL LOCAL DESIGN T-SHIRT AVAILABLE

LAKELAND, FL (September 6, 2018) – The countdown to the Suncoast Credit Union SwantoberFest is on.  Wear your game day shirt on Saturday, September 22nd, with the unique, original logo design T-Shirts on sale at Boondock Studios on 811 North Florida Avenue in Lakeland, Fl.

The logo design was created by Stacy Tabb of Boondock Studios and reflects traditional Germanic art while capturing the magic of Lakeland and incorporating a vine of hops bearing clusters of flowers that symbolize the featured drink of any Octoberfest!

“I wanted to emphasize the centuries-old traditions of Octoberfest, therefore used a woodblock style combined with hand-painted watercolor to create a uniquely ‘Lakeland’ piece.  The printing block was carved and then inked, and each print pulled by hand in the time-honored way,” comments Stacy Tabb, artist and co-owner of Boondock Studios.

A limited number of T-Shirts are available for purchase at Boondock Studios.  The T-Shirt fabric is a finer quality made from a tri-blend of polyester, combed ring spun combed cotton, and rayon for softness. Each T-Shirt is $25.  Boondock Studios is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

“SwantoberFest is a chance for everyone to see what Lakeland has to offer,” says Mary McDonald, community relations director for Suncoast Credit Union.  “We are excited to help make this event a destination activity, and we are proud to be a part of this community.”

The Suncoast Credit Union SwantoberFest creates a space in time to unwind, make new friends, learn new customs and sing a few songs.  Be there to help tap the inaugural keg at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, as Lakeland’s Suncoast Credit Union SwantoberFest kicks off!

Suncoast Credit Union has opened a new location in South Lakeland at 6405 South Florida Ave Lakeland, FL 33813.  The location in South Lakeland will complement its flagship location in North Lakeland at 919 Lakeland Park Center Dr #360, Lakeland, FL 33809.
