Junior League of Greater Lakeland Thrift Sale September 14, 2019

LAKELAND, Fla. – The Junior League of Greater Lakeland is hosting its Thrift Sale on Saturday, September 14 at 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This year it will be located at 3125 Drane Field Road in Lakeland. The community is invited to attend and shop high-quality, gently used clothing for the whole family, children’s items, furniture, home decor and household items at very affordable prices. The sales proceeds will be used to support the Junior Leagues ongoing community initiatives and literacy programs.

“It is an honor to host the Junior League Thrift Sale for our community. We are able to use the generous donations from many League members and friends to meet tangible needs in our community – providing quality clothing and accessories, home decor, kids toys and more,” says Callie Miller, Junior League of Greater Lakeland President, “we look forward to meeting thousands of community members as they shop the sale. Proceeds from Thrift Sale are then leveraged to fund our ongoing community initiatives throughout the year.”

The League has filled 26,000 sq feet with items for sale, including men, women’s, and children’s clothing, toys, accessories, furniture, art, home goods, tools, electronics, holiday, and much more. The sale will include high-quality women’s fashion from brands like Lilly Pulitzer, Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic and more. Additionally, some of the name brand children’s clothing and toys that will be available include specialty boutiques, Carters, Old Navy, Oshkosh, Fisher Price, Melissa and Doug and more.

The Thrift Sale benefits the Junior League of Greater Lakeland community projects focused on supporting women and children in our community. In addition, the League is responding to a community crisis to provide essential clothing and toiletries necessary for children throughout our community under our ‘Clothe the Community’ initiative.

The Junior League of Greater Lakeland would like to thank our top sponsors The Ruthvens, Southern Homes and Publix Super Markets Charities for their continued support.
