CareerSource Polk’s Youth Expo Addresses Critical Question of “What’s Next?”

Polk County, Florida, March 8, 2019 – CareerSource Polk will be hosting a Youth Career Expo on March 25 at Carver Recreation Center from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event is free for both employers and anyone between the ages of 16 and 24.  Exhibitors will provide these individuals with information to answer the question of “What’s next for me?”  With more than 15 exhibitors already signed up to participate, CareerSource Polk anticipates more than 50 exhibitors will attend the What’s Next Expo.

Local employers, postsecondary educational institutions, military branches, and career training providers will be exhibiting throughout the event providing attendees with information about their programs, open positions, and community resources. CareerSource Polk will have an exhibit to assist with resume development, mock interviews and tips to assist participants in the recruitment process.

CareerSource Polk’s Young Leaders Program is currently looking for educational institutions and employers with at least one open position to attend the Youth Expo.
