LAKELAND, FLORIDA (September 26, 2017) — On Tuesday, October 3 at LkldTV Studio B – a month prior to the 2017 Municipal Election – the attendees of the Hob Nob event will have the opportunity to personally engage with candidates and representatives of committees.  Meet the candidates for Lakeland Mayor, City Commission, and representatives from groups for and against ballot initiatives.

In time for the voter registration deadline of October 9, Polk County Supervisor of Elections’ bilingual Mobile Registration/Outreach Team will be there to provide voter registration services (including name, signature, address, and party affiliation updates), vote by mail sign-ups in English and Spanish, and they will have information to share with individuals interested in becoming paid Election Day workers at voting locations throughout Polk County.
