MIDFLORIDA Credit Union is pleased to announce the addition of their eighth branch in Lakeland – a recently remodeled 3,821 sq. ft. building located at 2100 Harden Blvd. Opening for business on Monday, August 4, the new branch will feature the credit union’s standard Saturday service hours, a drive-up ATM and three drive-thru lanes with 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. extended hours.
To celebrate, a grand opening event is planned for Friday, August 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Festivities will include free lunch, bingo with prizes, an Apple iPad Mini giveaway, plus checking incentives and special certificate offers.
“The Harden branch is meaningful to us not only as our eighth Lakeland location, but especially because our credit union was founded by Claude Harden, the namesake for the road where the branch resides,” said Kevin Jones, MIDFLORIDA’s President and CEO. “It feels like we’ve come full circle – opening a branch named after our founder and first member in the same year we celebrate our 60th anniversary.”
Spread throughout the heart of the city, MIDFLORIDA’s Lakeland branches are situated so that there are no more than five miles between each doorstep. “As the Lakeland community continues to grow and prosper,” Jones added, “we’re committed to ensuring that the convenience of our locations and the value of our products and services are around every corner.”
