On Tuesday, April 24, the Southeastern University Students in Free Enterprise will present their final installment in the “It Makes Cents” workshop series.
Special guest Joe Bennett of Sites That Pop will be on hand to discuss the ins and outs of Web design and Web site development. In 2006 Joe got his start in digital advertising and web design as part of a sales team in NYC that represented clients such as Marvel, Prevention Magazine, and AARP. Later he transitioned to work as a freelance web designer creating digital and interactive ads for numerous national brands including Gillette, U.S. Army, Sprite, CBS Sports, Columbia House, and many others. Two years ago Joe moved back down to his hometown of Lake Wales and started Sites That Pop. His company offers web design, social media management, and digital marketing to clients ranging from start-ups to multi-million dollar companies.
Starting at 5:30 p.m., the workshop is free to small business owners, and is held in the College of Business & Legal Studies on Southeastern’s Campus.
