Flying Tigers Home Schedule Kicks Off 4-7 With Egg Hunt, Fireworks

The Lakeland Flying Tigers 2012 season kicks off on Saturday, April 7 at Joker Marchant Stadium when the team hosts the Tampa Yankees.  Game time is scheduled for 6:00 pm and the gates to Joker Marchant Stadium will open at 4:30 pm. 2012 marks the 46th season Lakeland has been a Detroit Tigers affiliate, the longest affiliation in Minor League Baseball.   This is also the 62nd season Lakeland has been a member of the Florida State League.

Tickets for all home games are available by calling the Flying Tigers at (863) 686-8075.  Box seats are $6 and reserved seats are $5 and seniors 55 and over and children 14 and under receive a $1.00 discount.  Saturday tickets are an additional $1.  Wednesday All-You-Can-Eat tickets are $10.  Monday tickets are $1.  Parking is FREE.

Tattoo and balloon artists from Twisted Artz will be in the main concourse beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The first 1,500 fans that enter the ballpark will receive a free 2012 Flying Tigers magnet schedule sponsored by the Imperial Swan Hotel & Suites.

Publix Easter Egg Hunt (following the game)
Over 20,000 candy and toy filled eggs will be scattered across the field at Joker Marchant Stadium following the game.  The egg hunt is open to children ages 14 and under.
Special appearance by the Easter Bunny.
