Girls Inc. of Lakeland is a private, non-profit United Way agency providing a daily after school and summer program for girls in grades K-12. Their mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. For the past 40 years, over 30,000 girls have benefited from the outstanding work that Girls Inc. of Lakeland provides through its afterschool and summer programs. Its research-based curricula, delivered by trained professionals, equip girls to achieve academically; lead healthy and physically active lives; manage money; navigate media messages; and discover an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math.
