“Take Stock in Science” Campaign

Although Santa Fe has always offered a wide range of science courses, we wanted to increase those opportunities for our students. During the spring of 2008 efforts were made to begin a campaign, “Take Stock in Science,” to upgrade and renovate the chemistry lab, the integrated science room, and the physics and anatomy lab. Over $80,000 was raised by personal donations as well as requests from foundations across the country. With these proceeds Santa Fe has expanded one of the science rooms, purchased new furniture and equipment for all rooms, increased the number of science course offerings, and increased lab hours. We believe these improvements have provided additional, and enhanced, exposure to the students and have brought new enthusiasm to the world of science.
