BusinessVoice, Inc. of Greater Lakeland Announces Political Endorsements
BusinessVoice of Greater Lakeland, the political arm of the Lakeland Area Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce their most recent endorsements.
BusinessVoice, Inc. members interviewed candidates on June 10th. Along with the endorsements, BusinessVoice, Inc. contributed $500 to the following campaigns and encourages community members to support these candidates.
Bob English – Polk County Commission District 1
John Shamp – Polk County Commission District 3
Sam Johnson – Polk County Commission District 5
Brenda Reddout – Polk County School Board District 4
Grady Judd – Polk County Sheriff
Marsha Faux – Polk County Property Appraiser
Richard Weiss – Polk County Clerk of Courts
BusinessVoice, Inc. was created as an organization to support pro-business political candidates and to promote issues which impact the business community. BusinessVoice, Inc. works to serve as an endorsement board for those individuals who personify the objectives of the business community.

Why even have endorsement meetings, it looks like you have gone against the memberships wishes and endorsed all of the incumbants. You obviously didn’t ask the membership.

To let you know, BusinessVoice is a Political Action Committee created in 2000 as an organization to support Pro-Business Candidates and to promote issues which impact the business community. All Chamber members are welcome to join BusinessVoice for an additional membership investment. There are 3 levels…
Basic Membership starts at $250
President Level is $500
Chairman Level is $1,000
Endorsed candidates are selected by the Majority vote of BusinessVoice Members in attendance at the meeting. If you feel they are not representing your Business strategy you are welcome to join and make your voice heard.
